Sobre el libro

On board the vessel that the artist Roger Dean created, Yes has explored and set the flag of symphonic rock in all the planets of the musical galaxy. Loved, insulted, envied, bombastic, excessive, brilliant… Still active, with the last beats of the sixties, Yes planted the seed of prog rock. Jon Anderson and Chris Squire’s band are for symphonic rock what Robert Johnson for blues or Jimi Hendrix for the electric guitar.
“Yes. Beyond the Abyss” is a must for those who love good music. A different and enjoyable proposal with which the writer Victor Paraiso is capable of setting the immense Yes universe on the palm of the hand of the reader. This work – which cohabits in the essay and the collage – is as unique as it is necessary. A kaleidoscope to the brim in photographic pearls, fascinating stories (old but new), and fragments of forgotten interviews. For the first time a book about Yes includes a complete, useful and updated discography with all the recordings (inside and outside of Yes) of their innumerable members. Without a doubt, we have before us one of the Yessiest creations of all time.
